Dominican Way
In the summer of 2001, Marian Catholic added "Dominican Way" to its existing First and Second Halls with eight new classrooms and a large teacher resource area. The additional space helps improve the learning environment and teacher-student ratio.
Master Science Lab and Greenhouse
Increased use of wireless technology and probes for physiology and anatomy students became reality with the opening of a Master Science Lab in the fall of 1999. In additional, the Dominican Greenhouse allows for advanced, first-hand experience for botany students
Band Room
This addition on the northeast corner of campus includes more than 6,500 square feet and holds the offices for the Band Director and the assistants, along with band lockers and a library. This facility allows for the entire band to practice in one room comfortably.
Library
The Marian Catholic High School library has two fulltime professional librarians and one fulltime paraprofessional. There are more than 22 thousand volumes (books) in the library. Students have access to 115 magazines, journals, and newspapers subscribed to in the library.
Computer Labs
The Marian Catholic computer labs are truly state of the art with Intel computers that are networked to a file server via fiber optic cable along with having access to the Internet via two high speed T-1 connections. A separate writing lab includes 35 Intel computers for word processing.
Benish College Room
Students and parents are encouraged to use the resources of the Benish College Center for college and career planning. Career planning is introduced sophomore year with college planning beginning junior year through college information and financial aid seminars and individual appointments with counselors.
Gym
Dedicated in October, 1997, Marian's West Gym provides modern facilities for varsity and intramural sports. The gym features basketball, volleyball, and locker room facilities, as well as bleacher seating for the entire student body. Together with the original East Gym (renovated in summer 2000), the new facility allows Marian to expand the intramural program.
Croarkin Theater
Remodeled recently and adding a new sound system in summer of 2001, the Croarkin Theater holds more than 400 people and is used for prayer services, class masses, and theatrical productions.
