There's something new in the West Gym at Marian Catholic High School! If you have attended a recent home basketball game or any other function in the West Gym you will have seen a new “sign of support” mounted on the wall above the home bleachers. The sign with it’s simple “Go Spartans” message and logo of Ed Miniat, Inc., the sign sponsor, is the first of hopefully many that will offer visual support for Spartan teams and financial support for the Athletic Department.
The program was suggested by Marian parent Mike Caruso and approved by the MCHS Advisory Board. Under this sponsorship program signs may be contracted for and placed in the West Gym, Spartan Football Stadium, the Brzozowski Baseball Field and the softball field. Signs can be sponsored for one to three years with significant discounts for terms of more than one year. Signs contracted now will be placed in the specified venue, but the contractual term will not begin until July of 2007 as a bonus for early participation in this new program.
