The 2010 Calendar Drive has already raised $225,000. This is Marian Catholic's only all-school fund-raiser. We are still offering $26,000 in prize money and more than $350 in valuable coupons. the coupons cover an area that stretches from Palos Hills to Crown Point, Ind.
If you "lost" your previous Calendar salesperson and would like to purchase the 2010 Calendar, please call Mr. John Perkovich at 708-755-7565, extension 1446. He can give you directions on how to send orders via the mail.

The winner of the "Great Doubler" entry drawing prize of $250 was Bob and Bonnie Bijak Norush of Chicago Heights. All of the nearly 400 Doubler entries have positioned themselves to double any prize they should win during our 2010 Calendar drawings. Doublers can still be sent in, but the entry drawing aspect has obviously concluded. Thanks to all who opted for this feature!
Thanks goes out to the 218 individuals who participated in our new optional calendar feature, the "Holiday 50/50 Split the Pot" drawing. The lucky winner was Wayne Haser of Monee with a share of $1,090. Marian Catholic received the same amount, so it was a win-win situation. Thanks again!

As part of Marian's Calendar Drive 2010, a contest was held called "Sell-A-Celeb." The students and staff voted to determine the winner. First prize went to LeRone Branch for selling a Calendar to "Mr. Cub" Ernie Banks (photo above). Second prize was voted to Emma Young for selling to Colin Egglesfield, a star on the soap opera Melrose Place. Taking third was Brandon Green for getting Mark Suppelsa from WGN News to become a Marian Calendar owner, and forth was awarded to Liam Kroning for getting a calendar in the hands of Greg Maddux, former major league pitcher. |
