Four Marian gridders sign letters of intent

  
Four members of Marian Catholic High School's Class 6A playoff-qualifying football squad signed national letters of intent on Wednesday to continue their careers as student-athletes at the next level.
   Receiver Andy Lietz and tailback Chris Rodriguez committed to St. Xavier University, where they will play for Marian Catholic graduate and head coach Mike Feminis. Lineman Tim Kelly plans to continue his career at Eastern Illinois University, while receiver Bryan Smith has committed to Hofstra University. All four athletes were members of the all-East Suburban Catholic Conference team.
