As a salute to the tradition and history in which former football players and cheerleaders were such an integral part, the Marian Catholic Athletic Department will honor alumni football squads and cheerleaders at a home football game each year for a 10-year period. The "Decade of Champions" will culminate with a celebration in the year 2010 to salute the first 50 full years of football.
Football squad members from the teams listed and cheerleaders of the years listed are cordially invited to attend a designated home football game each year. This invitation goes to all team members of those years, regardless of your class level during that year. The designated year will represent the actual football season; not the graduation year.
Reconnection to our alumni has become a very important focus of Marian Catholic High School, and specifically to those who helped foster the tradition of the football programs and cheerleading squads.
The following schedule has been set up to accomodate the Decade of Champions commemoration:
2000: 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000.
2001: 1961, 1971, 1981, 1991, 2001.
2002: 1962, 1972, 1982, 1992, 2002.
2003: 1963, 1973, 1983, 1993, 2003.
2004: 1964, 1974, 1984, 1994, 2004.
2005: 1965, 1975, 1985, 1995, 2005.
2006: 1966, 1976, 1986, 1996, 2006.
2007: 1967, 1977, 1987, 1997, 2007.
2008: 1968, 1978, 1988, 1998, 2008.
