With second-place finishes in their events on Friday afternoon at the Class AA Thornridge Sectional, Cameron Williams and John Walter each qualified for state next weekend at Eastern Illinois University´s O´Brien Stadium in Charleston.
Williams used a toss of 45-7 in the triple jump to earn second place, while Walter timed 10:03.40 to qualify for state in the 3,200 run. |
