   Marian Catholic graduate Rodney Harrison `91 started at free safety on Feb. 1, 2005 when the New England Patriots defeated the Carolina Panthers, 32-29 in Super Bowl XXXVII in Houston. Rodney Harrison 
   Harrison had a team-high nine tackles and recorded a key sack to lead the Patriot defense. He also notched 10 tackles in New Englandīs 24-14 victory over Indianapolis in the AFC Championship game.
   To open the 2004 campaign, Harrison had a combined 14 tackles in victories over Indianapolis and Arizona.
   Harrison played football and basketball in college at Western Illinois University and has been named to the Pro Bowl twice and honored as San Diego Chargers "Defensive Player of the Year" four times. He is currently with the New England Patriots.

   Sept. 20-
Several Marian Catholic alumni and workers/coaches played prominent roles in the Chicagoland Fall Classic softball tournament in Orland Park on Sept. 16-18, including tournament director Stefanie (Guillen) McAllister `85.
   Oct. 2-
The University of St. Thomas (Minn.) inducted Tom Stallings `89 into its Athletic Hall of Fame. A football standout, Stallings graduated from St. Thomas in 1993.
