170 pounds (Nate Jackson, 39-1): beat Mark Hendricks (Marengo), T/F, 5:50 (29-14); beat Jake Tindle (Triad), 6-3; beat Omar Awad (Burlington Central, T/F, 3:48 (24-9); pinned Eric Kirkman (Lemont), 3:29 (Class 2A state championship).
Feb. 11- Nate Jackson qualifies for IHSA State meet
Nate Jackson earned a return berth to the IHSA state meet by winning the IHSA Lemont Sectional at 170 pounds. Jackson gained a title-match victory over Eric Kirkman of Lemont with a techical fall at the 4:56 mark.
