RECAP FROM WGI WEBSITE :

Sweeping all captions, Marian Catholic (IL) (Gold Medal- 95.9) illustrated the hopelessness of the state of man after being expelled from Paradise with their powerful production “Fallen.” A large gate opened at the beginning to allow the members to pass through while performing on flags resembling tattered wings. As the ladies dropped to their knees in desperation, the hymn “Amazing Grace” rang throughout the arena. In one of the most visually stunning effects in recent years, the gate moved forward as the tarp was pulled to reveal a sky with white puffy clouds, as the group streamed inside the opening gate in a glorious ending.
