Campus Ministry |
|
|

The spiritual atmosphere at Marian Catholic sets it apart from other area high schools. In support of Marian Catholic's mission, four years of religious studies and an annual retreat are required of all students.
The Campus Ministry department promotes student participation in Eucharistic liturgies and other prayer services.
It provides students with the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
The Kairos retreat program is available to all seniors. Juniors and sophomores attend evening retreats; freshman participate in their retreat during their orientation days. |

The Campus Ministry theme for Marian in 2009-2010 is
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
During the Opening Prayer service, the Dominican
Preachers spoke about the importance of Prayer to the Marian community. Students were challenged to live out the theme by creating ways to unite the student body through the power of Prayer and students having a prayer life.

Growth in faith is at the heart of the Marian Catholic mission. The life of the spirit -- religious studies, retreats, and participation in the Eucharist and prayer services -- permeates the curriculum, integrating faith and life.
Campus Ministry implements programs that contribute to the spiritual welfare of the entire Marian Catholic community and develops a Catholic religious environment that fosters a deepening personal relationship with Christ through Christian formation. |
