The Marian Technology Department supports a variety of types of computers throughout the campus.
With the variety of computers, it is necessary for the technology department to develop and implement a series of standards for all the hardware and software that the staff will support.

- Preferred vendors: Apple, Dell, Gateway, Hewlett-Packard
SOFTWARE STANDARDS
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional
- Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher)
- Internet Explorer
- Firefox
- Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Edition
- Webroot SpySweeper
- WinZip
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Flash, Shockwave, Quicktime Plug-ins
The technology department will work with you or your department to find other software titles to fit your academic needs.
Please be aware that there will be limited tech support on hardware or
software that is not part of the technology standards.
