Entrance Exam

Marian Catholic High School Entrance Exam, Saturday December 6, 2025. Registration opens November 21, 2025
If your student plans to enroll for the 2026–2027 school year, the Parent Portal is officially open and the Entrance Exam Registration Form is now live! Follow the steps below to get started.

Marian Catholic Parent Portal Registration

 

  • Select “Create Account” and enter your name, email address, and a password of your choice.
  • After creating your account, log in and click the green box on the left labeled “Begin Application Process.”
  • Complete and submit the Portal Registration Form to finalize your setup.
  • Once inside your portal, select “View Checklist.” You’ll see the Entrance Exam Registration Form ready for you to complete.
That’s it! Once your Parent Portal is created and your Portal Registration Form is submitted, you’re able to register your student for the Entrance Exam directly through your checklist.
 
All students who plan to attend Marian Catholic High School must be present for the entrance exam. A link to register for the makeup entrance exam will be sent upon completing the admissions application.
 
The make-up entrance exam for the Class of 2030 is December 13, 2025, at 8 a.m.
 

What to know for the day of the exam:

  • Arrive at least 20 minutes early and enter at the Leadership Center located off Joe Orr Road and be prepared to stay until 12:30 p.m. 

  • Testers should bring two sharpened #2 pencils and a $25 test fee (cash or check made out to Marian Catholic High School)

  • No calculators are allowed  

Students should know the following information:

  • Parent(s) Names
  • Home Mailing Address (Street, City, State, Zip)
  • Primary Contact Phone
  • Grade school, including town

Entrance Exam Preparation 

Marian Catholic does not endorse any of these books nor do we offer entrance exam preparation courses.

Recommended books are ones that contain samples of the various tests given by different high schools, including the sample of the HSPT, which is the test given at Marian Catholic.

Bookstores, Amazon, etc., usually have, or will order for you, books to help prepare students for entrance exams at Catholic high schools.
