Marian Catholic won its 17th and 18th IHSA individual state titles on May 26 in Charleston at the Track and Field State Championships. The quartet of Brent Fitzgerald, Jalen Frazier, Daryl McIntosh and Josh Smith (left) won both the Class 2A 400-meter and 800-meter relays. The Spartans have won individual state titles in wrestling (seven), men's track (five), women's track (three), men's swimming (two) and men's basketball three-point (one).

Marian Catholic team IHSA State Championships have been achieved in 4A Football, 3A Baseball, 4A Women's Basketball and 3A Women's Volleyball.



 
Marian college commitments in November 2018 include (clockwise, from bottom right) Travis Ford-Melton (Purdue wrestling), Heidi Schuffert (Illinois-Springfield soccer), Temi Thomas-Ailara (Northwestern volleyball) and baseball players Pierce Jones (Northern Illinois), Chandler Kerr (Concordia), Jordan Smevoll (Webster), Michael Bohlen (Northern Kentucky), Angelo Cantelo (Lewis), Julian Ledezma (North Park) and Cameron Bufford (Grambling State).

Marian Catholic High School occasionally seeks individuals to fill several coaching positions. Candidates must have a valid teaching certificate or ASEP certification. Marian is not currently seeking any head/assistant coaches. Currently (Nov. 2018), no teaching positions are available.

Assistant coach positions for various sports will be listed in this area as openings arise.
